Most of architects start their career as a paper architect. It is difficult to build an academic project in the real world 대부분의 건축가는 Paper Architect으로 시작한다. 왜냐하면, 학교에서 배우는 과정은 주로 현실화되기가 어렵고, 반대로 현실화 시키기 위한 프로젝트는 경제성 때문에 학생들의 상상력을 제한할 수도 있기 때문이다.
CA (Construction Administration) is the last phase of architectural design. CA 디자인의 가장 마지막 단계다. 디자이너가 문을 열고 클라이언트에게 인사를 하는 역할이라면, 감리를 맡은 건축가는 문을 닫고 클라이언트에게 작별인사를 하는 역할이다. 상상한 것들을 전부 현실화 시킬 수 있다면 좋겠지만, 대부분의 프로젝트는 예산과 시공문제로 많은 변경이 생긴다.
